Race Notes:
• High 16’s to Alec and Gareth, Low 5’s to Jamie and Steve.
• Alec stormed the night, then gave up some points in the last class thereby missing out on the ton by 2…
• Jamie’s worst class (5 points) was Carerra Mille Miglia - ironic as Jamie was usually leading when he de-slotted, and his history with Carerra cars…tsk tsk.
• James’s WRC result brought him back to the close rear of the main pack, his Fly Classic then got him past Gareth, Jamie, Lawrence and Steve. They were the only classes James scored double digits in.
• * James was knocked out of, then back knocked back into the slot in his second to last race of the night. He got 2 more points from that race and stole 4th place from Lawrence… So James quit his quitting of the race when up for just the one point - how typical!
• Both Jamie and Steve can proudly lay claim to being “6th when there were 7 of us racing…”

Race Notes:

• 60s LeMans is still causing confusion for the older generation!
  • NO - You are not allowed to run cars without underpans.
  • YES - You can run ‘74 Chevys as long as they bear some resemblence to the ‘68 model that actually raced.
  • NO - Your car does not need to conform to 1:32 scale in 3 dimensions.
• It’s a sad day when people agree that Carrera Hotrods is considered a better class then something else.
• F2 Rally has been opened up to include non-scale F2 Rally cars. Again we would prefer at least one scale dimension to be correct (eg the steering wheel is the correct diameter).
• Scores marked * are not necessarily to scale.

• Ninco Meganes - Magnets removed to “improve” racing…. yeah right!
